My husband and I were VERY pleased to find that's this deli has turkey pastrami. It seems to be sooo hard to find. The location is good inside is decent and clean, has an old feel and they have sportsmemorabilia, old school candies and sodas which o thought was nice. We ordered some rugelach (chocolate, cinnamon, and apricot), and got a turkey pastrami sandwich. It was really good but for the price it should've been larger. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
FANTASTIC. One of my favorite spots in LA. Easily the best corned beef sandwich ever anywhere. My Saturday routine drop the Rubicon at the "The Wash" on Pico then walk down to Factor's. Half sandwich add Swiss and mustard on Rye bread. Side potato salad. Worth the trip wherever you are in LA. The sports memorabilia is seriously cool. Counter service at the deli always with a smile.
Today, we were all set to go to BLOOM for lunch, when me, the googler checked and uh oh CLOSED ON MONDAYS. So, I offered up Factors bc one of my favorite family members loves a good deli especially this one because their baked goods are ridiculously delicious and the choices are aplenty and it's a sugar lover's paradise! Lunch was great! The Chopped Italian Salad was one of the best I have ever had. Nothing else was spectacular but not bad. The matza ball soup was meh but everyone was happy anyway bc my cousin asked us all to pick out some treats for us to take home. Oh wow, such fun we all had giggling and contemplating what we wanted. I didn't snap a photo, but I think I've mentioned before. I've never seen this many baked goods in any delicatessen here nor in my NYC hometown! Waitstaff is lovely and very sweet to us. I really appreciate their service and I would recommend Factors to anyone. There's a big menu and I'm sure you'll be able to find something delicious and don't forget to buy some of those baked goods!
I've been eating here for years now. Food is plentiful and delicious. The new cucumbers that you get as appetizers are amazing!! If your a local stop by!!
If you're hiding from the paparazzi and Lieders or Langers is too high profile for you, come bring also your entire family to the lovely Factor's Famous Deli for any occasion. They have delicious beet soup with cream. If a deceptively petite looking yet hearty roast beef sandwich is not to your first choice but you are looking for something more vegetarian, try a spinach wrap with sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese. It's so savory, who could ask for anything more? The kids might like pancakes with fresh berries. A chicken cilantro sandwich might be right up your alley. With kosher fruit sodas, and a friendly yet professional staff, what's not to like? I loved returning to this place. John Wayne would approve. :)
Not my first time here. Woke up craving a Turkey Reuben and I knew JUST WHERE TO GO. Delicious deli food and great atmosphere with old movie posters! Excellent service !
In the area the day before Passover and many spots were closed, but Factor's remained open. They have valet parking, but I was able to find a spot street parking a block away. Stepped inside into the deli or step to the left for the restaurant. Went to Host stand and was immediately seated at a booth. Service was excellent. Friendly and efficient. After she took our order, we had several others stop by to make sure we had placed an order for drinks. An order of sour pickles were brought over on the house to start. They were perfect. I started with a cup of the Matzo Ball soup. Very good. Next up, 1/2 of Corn Beef on Rye. Delicious. Rye bread was soft and Corn beef was salty. I didn't even add any mustard. It was served with a side of potato salad, which was good, but I was too full to eat. My lunch partner ordered the Pastrami and he didn't leave a bite for me to try. Ha! We enjoyed and definitely would return.
I have frequented this place years ago when I lived close. Came in on a rainy afternoon to find nothing has changed- still delectable as ever. I much prefer corned beef to pastrami and Factor's proves me right. The warm corned beef on rye is simply sublime: tender, warmed, fresh sliced nice and thin- and piled high. Thats how I like it. Sometimes I add cole slaw to my bite. I add yellow mustard as well. The bread is also so fresh and tasty! I really think their prices are very fair. I don't care but I'm not paying $39 for a sandwich, ok? I don't care if it's a foot high. Factor's sandwiches are a perfect size at a reasonable price. Soup today was split pea and it was piping hot. Not salty. If you want, add salt, but it teally didn't need it. Also tried the Knish with gravy- not a total standout, this did need some seasoning I thought, but it was piping hot and came with a savory gravy. Our busy waiter was serving the entire room it seemed, and he did great. Service was perfect. Go and get you a nice warm homey meal at Factor's. That is all.
